Leather Frog for Axe, Tomahawk, Hatchet, Sword, Dagger
This sturdy 10-11 oz BLACK drum dyed bridle leather frog is the same premium product that I've made for thousands of SCA and Ren-Faire participants. It is sealed the full length on all sides to prevent die transfer onto your attire. It is crafted from 1 1/2" strap and looped to handle a 1 1/2" round stick or a similarly sized weapon. These are very popular with SCA and LARP fighters who would like a handy simple harness to hold a weapon. It has excellent utility for holding flashlights or anything else that you'd like to keep close at hand.
The NERF(tm) sword pictured is an N-Force and has a blade width of 2 1/4". Our frog does a great job holding this class of weapons as well as many other conventional and non conventional styles. People have found that they work quite well for multi-cell Mag-lite flashlights too. Many uses.
Options: INCLUDED FOR FREE. NO EXTRA CHARGE. (it's just good belt-making.)

Thickness/Weight of Leather
Harnesses of much thinner grade leather have been sold on ebay for somewhat less or somewhat more than what we ask. Every belt maker claims to make the best gear along with the inferiority of others. Our decades of experience has shown that a bridle leather has a lifespan of at least as many decades despite any outlandish claims to the contrary. It should come as no surprise that more costly leather delivers a better result.
Quality Hardware
We make absolutely no compromise on quality. This is reflected in our choice of superior hardware that deliver decades of use. We've chosen carefully, others sellers haven't. It's your choice "silver/gold colored" or REAL SOLID CORROSION PROOF METAL. These are mounted using olde world hand tools to be flush or inset below the leather surface. We encourage buyers to compare.
Finished Edges
It's possible to take a strip of leather, stitch or rivet it together and call that done. But a good piece should have a finished bevel to the sides. Again trying to substitute speed for quality will make a belt that is less that you deserve. Check those edges...
We hope that these cautionary tales will steer people clear of the disappointment of inferior quality. It is possible to spend less or even more and get something that isn't what you deserve as a valued customer.
Satisfaction policy - Your happiness with our products is a top priority. See our feedback and know that this represents our sincere commitment to our customers. Please contact us if you have any problem with what we've sent. The deal's not done till everyone leaves smiling.
